Horizon Drops New Single “Season”

Illsboro Records artist Horizon (Troy R Legette) is a New Jersey native consistently bringing forth heart felt hip hop music that blends creative lyrical cadence with a unique boom bap sound in 2023. As his recollection reminds him, he got started back in the late 80’s – early 90’s by listening to other artist making music before him.

The talented artist found inspiration from urban locals and music videos such as Yo! MTV Raps and Rap City. Listening to regular and underground radio stations that played hip hop music. The love for it grew in Horizon so much that he began pushing himself to write rhymes and record himself by using instrumentals and tape decks.

All of which reflects through him as an artist to contribute and celebrate a wonderful footprint in 50 years of Hip Hop. Gearing up to finally deliver a spectacular performance August 10th, 2023 at the Unity Jam in Ybor City on behalf of 88.5WMNF and in dedication to Shock G from Digital Underground.

After deliberately making his introduction as an independent artist with motivating song “Shine Beyond”, mainly on the Tampa and Central Florida music scene, Horizon now showers us with another powerful vibe in new hot release “Season” through Tampa, FL based Illsboro Records. The new follow up is available now on all major platforms.

Word has it that there is another song brewing, “Organic” which is going to have heads nodding for the love and strength of Hip Hop. It will be the feedback from that, that will answer if another single release should follow or a much bigger project.
