Samuel Vincent Releases New Video “Raise The Gates”

Rising artist Samuel Vincent has unveiled a new music video entitled “Raise The Gates,” which is featured on his Medieval-themed hip-hop album “Aurora Mortis,” released in December of the previous year. This project is intricately woven around a detailed narrative, with “Raise The Gates” acting as its prologue. The storyline follows the album’s central character, Erdinus Athelard, who arrives at a campsite in search of respite, only to witness the enigmatic murder of two guards by a cloaked figure who quickly vanishes into the forest. Before Erdinus can chase after the perpetrator, the villagers at the campsite begin to turn on one another, resulting in a frenzied conflict. Amidst the chaos, Erdinus is faced with a pivotal decision: to stay hidden or to fight his way out to avoid being unjustly accused.

Samuel Vincent’s musical journey began in his childhood, inspired by the classic East Coast hip-hop scene. He utilized his father’s tape recorder and a Yamaha keyboard, which marked the inception of his artistic endeavors. His ambitions have culminated in the release of two studio albums, an EP titled “Rivalry,” numerous collaborations and remixes, and a prominent single, “Thrown Stoned” (from his debut album “Audiovile”), which has gained popularity in various curated playlists and attracted attention from the underground music community. Additionally, his recent project, “AURORA MORTIS,” has received praise from critics for its innovative approach and tribute to dark fantasy. Currently based in New Jersey, Samuel Vincent frequently dedicates his time to composing music at home or streaming obscure video games with friends.
